When we designed our new Euro Nymphing rods, we used some of Australia’s best competition fly fishers to explain what was needed in the best rod for a range of fish sizes and a range of river scenarios… Sure a softer rod might hold onto smaller fish a little easier, particularly in competition fishing, but it will struggle in the handling of the larger fish often found in our larger rivers and especially throughout New Zealand.

So we came to the conclusion that we needed two separate models in the 10ft 3wt, that although blended the very best of both worlds, were very different and specialised from one another.

The Stalker Euro Nymph Rod is ideal for competition fishers and new fishers to the long rod, made on a slightly softer actioned 3wt blank, having maximum give in all situations, which is ideal on often smaller fish, and at 84 grams, can easily be fished for the entire day.

The matt green eliminates sun glare and blends into the environment, the small diameter full wells grip is non tiring to clasp all day, and comes complete in a solid rod tube and comes complete with an extra spare tip.
