  • Freight - What does it cost?

    All items purchased will have a reasonable freight component added to the price.

    We use StarTrack Express rates as a general guide to freight and postal charges for within Australia. Hurley's Fly Fishing often subsidise the freight charge for you. Overseas (including New Zealand) we use AUS Post.

    Note: Deliveries must be signed for by the addressee. 

    All freight in Australia is $10, unless you spend over $100 where it is free shipping. (Excluses travel bag)

  • How long does it take for my order to reach me?

    Within Australia, usually up to 3-5 working days.

    International clients may take up to 2 weeks depending on where you are.

    If we are out of stock you will be contacted and advised when to expect delivery.

  • Why should I register as a user?

    The truth is it helps us a lot to speed up your ordering process for you. We need to know where you live (at least your postcode) so the freight component of your order can be calculated. This means we can serve you better and more efficiently. Registering does not mean you will be spammed or annoyed with unwanted emails. 

    Newsletters and Special Offers -
    We can keep you up to date with special deals and other offers. You may elect not to receive our newsletters and special offers at any time.


    Saves you time-
    It also conveniently speeds up the ordering process. When you order, all your details (except credit card information) will appear in the order form automatically. We need to know your address so we can calculate your freight and postage costs. We are ready when you are.


    Convenient-
    We want to make the process of doing business with us as quick as possible for you. We try to use a speedy and simplified approach.


    Profiling -
    When you join up if you tick the areas of interest boxes (optional) we know what you are generally interested in. We will be able to send you information (if you request it) directly related to your area of angling interest.


    Change your details anytime-
    You are free to change or update your details yourself. Just login with your username and password and make your changes.

  • Is ordering on the internet safe?

    Yes, it is as safe as it can be with today's technology. We use the most secure (128bit) ordering system available.

    Your credit card details are not kept on the internet.

    Overseas customers:
    Please note that credit card payments are not accepted for first orders.

    Payment can only be made by Telegraphic Transfer or direct deposit to our bank account. This can be easily arranged through your local bank. Contact us by email for our bank account details.

    Overseas clients paying by credit card will be requested to fax on a single sheet of paper both sides of their credit card and proof of their signature, such as the relevant page from their drivers license, passport etc.

    You will be required to to produce identification (drivers license, passport etc.) when accepting delivery of the goods. Only the person arranging payment can sign for the goods.

  • How do I become a Hurley's Fly Fishing distributor?
